Heavens know I've got a handful of topics I love to rant about, and some others that I'd just like to talk about.

I have a rough idea… Continue

Idea: The Axis Mundi Witches Ball 7 Replies

So, Michael and I were lamenting the lack of a Witch's Ball any longer in Atlanta. Of course, I have every faith that all of our visions of what it would be like would simply wither and die in the…Continue

JOURNEY OF THE FOOL I've been The Fool,Chaotic and cool,In bicycle dreams,I've flown without wings,The Journey begun,Began and begin,The precipice calls me,To leap once again,Ignoring the dangers,Relying on Angels,To bear me so gently,On clouds of serenity,Sometimes I crash,Sometimes I laugh,Sometimes I burn,Sometimes I learn. THE MAGICIANAHA! I said, I do exist, And have the power to resist Your wretched tries to change my name,I burn a steady, open flame.I write my magic, sing my spells,I…See More

Thank you. It was one of the coolest dreams I have ever had. Of course the next time I dreamed about this place was THE scariest dream I've ever had, so the poem for that one is only half written.

In dreams, great Truths transcend the Day,Dimensions merge to dance and play,My nighttime voyage to lands afar,Encompass worlds of distant stars.Last night I fled within, without,Where hunters could not search me out,In refuge high, a barricade,I built to keep those men away. The Others there had come to be,Sweet ritual planned in secrecy,To etch in skin, heart's dear desire,Becoming one with sacred fire. The Shaman did not want me there,And yet relented to my prayer,That I be marked with his…See More

Witch? Yes, I’m a witch. I’ve stood before The Lord of Death and found him not unkind. I’ve practiced well the sacred hidden loreThe words of power and the spells that bindAnd loosen; culled from nature’s troveThe herbs that heal - But most of all have IDanced naked, free and proud beneath the skyUnto the Goddess, She who shines above.Witch? Yes, I’m a witch for I am free From hope of Heaven and the fear of Hell. No solemn vale of tears is this to me.Earth is my cup of joy. I love her well.Seek…See More

Not that I am really interested in Toad killing, but is page 12 missing for a reason? :-) My tuxedo cat Anubis loves toads, left me one to squash with bare feet last spring. yuk

When I had a real job and needed sleep, I would spring awake, run outside and shout, "What!??!". Then I decided it was pretty cool to have the moon talk to you. :-) Thank you for the compliment, you should limit the number I post though,…

Have you read The Male Herbal by James Green? It is a wonderful book, combining philosophy and a little magic with herbal lore. I have a copy if you'd like to check it out.
